ARTIST SHOWCASE 1
In conjuction with BUY BLING-BLING MALAYSIA FAIR 09 which was held from 10-13th December 2009 at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, Kuala Lumpur, the artist showcasing a number of his collections to the public. Response from visitors to the fair was quite impressive and overwhelming eventhough little promotions was done by the organiser. To mark the event here are some of the highlights which took place during 4 days fair.

SPIRIT OF THE JUNGLE
Spirit of the Jungle-my latest theme. This is part of the parcel of my MINDSKETCHING series, a continuity of my previous themes..Virgin Jungle and Soul of The Jungle. I actually started working on Spirit of The Jungle series in November 2009 and managed to complete 5 pieces of artworks. I still favor to jungle series because of its uniqueness,beauty and the secret of oneoness. Being in the middle of thick jungle is scary if you been there for the first time. Once you are used to the surroundings you will fall in love-so cool and mind relaxing.
To show how spirit will look alike especially on canvas is something unsual. It is quite difficult to express. Spirit is something which is unseen but we could feel its existence. Try to spend one night in the middle of a thick jungle I am very certain you will experience it. Out of no where you will feel so scary and frightening even sometimes can reach us on a deep soul level. This reflect the authentic expressions of soulful connection with the land,ourself and the nature.On the border between light and dark we dwelled, between the familiar tamed land of bright green rolling dairy pastures and the mysterious writhing intertwining of life-death-life in the shadowy greens.
To make my artworks look fresh and well express I use similar color tones,cooling and soothing. Still maintain the unique vibrant,bold and brilliant colors too. Specifically to show ' spirit ' in my artwork I use spontaneous brushstrokes,lines and finger splash. Overlapping of different colors depict the change of atmosphere and environment in the jungle.There are to many significant features in the jungle that could be relected in my artworks but I prefer to show the basic elements only. Once it is done we could see a ' complex and in order ' form of artworks.
Spirit on the other hands is our inner feelings towards our life either we could see it or experience it. The determination to survive and adopt our way of life is part of the spiritual connection. In fact we could not depart our life from the jungle because it is where our life begins.

TIME TO START A NEW WORK
It has been quite a long time since my last posting in this blog. My schedules was very tight and I have no free time to upgrade even my blog. Throughout the whole December I was involved in a commission works which I just delivered the shipment last week. So after such a hectic moment which I encountered only on January 20th I managed to regain my normal live.Relax and enjoy my free time but still continue my daily routine as an artist.
I have just finished my sketchings on my new work,quite a number of pieces eventhough does not reach 100 sketches and I am very happy with it. Still on the jungle series theme but this time I will focus on the spritual side-Spirit of The Jungle. Maybe it sounds a bit scary and spooky but on canvas it will something different-so energetic and soothing I presume.Even on the similar phases and themes Spirit of The jungle is more 'complex but in order' if compared to the previous works of Virgin Jungle and Soul of The Jungle series.The color tonation and brushstrokes will differ a bit away from the latter series.To determine how ' Spirit ' looks like on canvas is something unusual to show. What will be the significant features is by showing the brushstrokes and finger splash to represent the ' Spirit ' while other factors in the theme remain obvious and understandable.
The element of spirit of the jungle on broader context will totally amuse the eyes of the viewer once the artworks are ready.This is a part of my schedule which I will adhere to and probably whatever I have outlined when working on the new works will be follow suit and taken place.
I hope I will be more enjoyable working on this new theme and deliver good artworks as well.I have to maintain my prominent signature in this work too so that the public will easily recognise my pieces.
